It was a great day for rugby, with the weather in our favour as the Westport U14 girls took on Creggs. From the first whistle, the girls played as a real team — showing excellent passing, strong tackling, and great communication all over the pitch.

Westport started with real intent, moving the ball quickly and supporting each other in attack. Their teamwork and determination paid off, and by half-time, they led 21–5 after some fine play on both sides.

In the second half, the Westport girls kept the pressure on and continued to dominate. Their efforts were rewarded with a total of six tries, all of which were successfully converted by Eva McManamon. Every player contributed to a strong all-round performance, with solid defence and great attacking flair.
